Large black Waziri tassel with colorful poms, beadwork and jingling bells on a metal tassel top. Beautiful old tassel made in cotton or a cotton fiber blend. Traditionally used as hair decoration, they are adorned with metal tube beads, glass beads and colorful poms.
This Waziri tassel has a metal topper with jingling bells, lots of pretty glass beads and a few long metal tube beads. Long braided ties at the top. The ties add about 10 inches or so to the total length. A beautiful vintage hair tassel in tribally used condition. The Waziri people are a Pashtun tribe who have inhabited the Waziristan region from time immemorial. The tribal peoples of this area still live a largely traditional lifestyle.
