Lovely Turkoman vintage pendant with red jewels and a brushed, silvery finish. Two pieces hooked together with a Turkoman bell dangle. A pretty piece to ad to costuming! The Turkoman, are an ethnic group native to Central Asia, primarily the Turkmen nation state of Turkmenistan. Smaller communities are also found in Iran, Afghanistan, North Caucasus (Stavropol Krai), and northern Pakistan. The major Turkmen tribes are Tekke, Yomut, Ersari, Chowdur and Saryk and are well-known for their beautiful jewelry traditions.
