Vintage Tribal SILVER Kuchi Pendant - Small Balochi Dangle
Adorable small silver pendant with glass jewel. Little pendants like this were originally used on larger jewelry pieces or sometimes used individually on clothing or accessories. This one would work perfectly for embellishing dance costuming, but would look fantastic on boho clothing too!
Adorable little Baloch tribal silver pendant with large red glass jewel and small hollow dangles for a nice jingle. Traditionally small pendants like this one are added to necklaces and other personal adornment. Sometimes they even embellish animal trappings as well! This cute little bit is unpolished and a bit tarnished, but it would shine up nicely if that’s your preference. It would make a nice small focal piece for a necklace!
The Baloch or Baluch are semi-nomadic Iranian people who live mainly in the Balochistan region, located at the southeastern-most edge of the Iranian plateau and encompassing the countries of Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan. Balochi women wear an assortment of nose-rings, earrings, rings on fingers and toes, necklaces, bracelets, and ornaments in the hair. Jewelry is typically made from gold, silver, or less desirable metals, depending on one's means.
