Beautiful Hazara tribal pendant with etched design and finely worked chain dangles with hollow drops. Vintage pendant has all its dangles and rings. Detailing includes a flower-shaped applique at the top. The Hazaragi originate from the Hazaristan (Hazarajat) region of central Afghanistan with a few being scattered to Pakistan and Iran. Hazara jewelry is often without the larger, colorful jewels that Kuchi jewelry is known for. Hazara jewelry can be delicate, with fine etching, delicate wirework and small dangles, or can be large, simple and solid in unique shapes and designs.
