Vintage Kuchi Necklace - Afghan Necklace with Ball Pendant and Stamped Links

Vintage Kuchi necklace with focal bead pendant, small chain dangles and a red jewel. Chain and link necklace could easily be adjusted to a smaller size by adding a hook and ring. Unique stamped links on the chain. This necklace would be easy to disassemble and the pieces used to make a new piece. Lightweight and easy to wear. The story of Kuchi jewelry, like all tribal jewelry, is rich with influences from many cultures. These beautiful pieces with colorful glass jewels and jingling bells originally came from the nomadic Pashtoon tribes that wandered the border areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan, along ancient routes between the seasons.
