Colorful vintage Balochi tassel with jingling metal bells, extra large white seed beading and silver metallic thread wrapped details. Single tassel is quite long and will really stand out wherever it’s placed. Pink, green, yellow and purple colors add visual interest and attract the eye.
Traditionally, Kuchi and other nomadic peoples use tassels in their homes, on their clothing / accessories and on their animals. Tassels are used to distract the evil eye and keep spirits from focusing on the person or animal wearing them or to keep the home safe. Tassels can add a lot of color to your belly dance costuming or accessories. Be aware however that glass beading on tassels can add weight.
