Vintage Amazigh Headpiece - Moroccan Berber Tribal Headpiece - Glass Jewels
Vintage Amazigh / Berber headpiece from the south of Morocco. Large headpiece consists of flat metal pieces with etched design and large glass jewels. Large dangling coins on chains lay across the forehead. Hooks on each side and the top center hold this piece to a scarf or turban. Great for tribal, fusion or folkloric dance or incorporate as part of a renn faire costume. A lovely authentic piece.
Vintage Berber / Amazigh headpiece from the south of Morocco. These pieces are adorned with etched designs and very large glass jewels on the top portion, which seemingly inexplicably rests on the top of the head where it cannot readily be seen by the casual observer. The coins are draped across the forehead and held into position on a scarf or headpiece with the pins at either end. Photo included! An exuberant piece from the edge of the Sahara.
