Solid and sassy Kuchi hoop earrings from Jalalabad with long dangles and some small jewels. These amazing large earrings were made to be worn attached to a headpiece or with a cord or band across the top of the head to keep weight off the ears. Wires are about a 10 gauge, a lot thicker than western gauge wires, and usually cannot be worn in western piercings unless you have stretched piercings. Since they are used pieces and have previously been worn in country, it is recommended that the wires be cleaned before wearing. Kuchi jewelry, has long been incorporated into tribal belly dance costuming and continues to be popular with dancers today. The story of Kuchi jewelry, like all tribal jewelry, is rich with influences from many cultures.
