Contemporary Moroccan hamsa pendant. Lots of detailing in a traditional shape. Bale at the top for stringing or attaching to costuming. There is a ring attached at the bale, that could be used or replaced as you wish. This pendant would make an impressive large focal pendant for a beaded necklace or use to add detail to costuming.
The hamsa (Arabic " khamsa "), or Hand of Fatima, is a well-known amulet throughout North Africa and the Middle East. The hamsa is a sign of protection that also represents blessings, power and strength, and is seen as potent in deflecting the evil eye.
