The mountainous region of far northeastern Afghanistan, northern Pakistan, the Kashmir and northern India are a trove of jewelry designs. Here many cultures overlap and jewelry styles intertwine and meld. Personal adornment here reflects the influences of all of these areas while still retaining it's own unique jewelry traditions.
