Vintage Kashmiri tribal bracelet. Traditional horseshoe style bracelet with Makara dragon’s head design. Rigid horseshoe-shaped cuff in mixed metals is not adjustable. Please measure your wrist carefully to be sure it will fit correctly - measure around the wrist to determine if it will fit comfortably and then measure your wrist from top to bottom (you may have to estimate) to be certain you can slide it onto your wrist through the size of the gap. The Makara were symbols of fierceness and were often sculpted at the entrances to places of importance such as temples and palaces and to guard treasure. Over time the makara became a symbol of intelligence, destiny, and prosperity as well as strength.
