A pair of premium tribal silver temple pendants from Morocco. These pendants feature round enamel sections attached to silver coins by hand worked chains. These pieces mostly likely were taken from an old crown or diadem and saved for a new purpose. This pair would be lovely on dance jewelry, or even for a more every day purpose. Fine tribal silver.
Beautiful vintage pair of Moroccan SILVER temple pendants. These extraordinarily beautiful pendants most likely originally adorned a silver crown or diadem and were saved for another use. Or perhaps were used on a fibula set under the pins. Red, green and yellow enamel is quite old and somewhat faded. Round enamel sections are attached to silver coins by hand worked chain sections and large rings. Amazing matched pair could be used for almost any costuming or jewelry purpose, but are intriguingly satisfying to hold in your hand just as they are.
Berber, or Amazigh, jewelry is large, showy, colorful and FUN, often including lots of detail like enamel in bright colors, large jewels and coins. It represents much more than simply adornment.
